January is the start of a new year and new challenges for the yearly growing season.  2022 has begun with its own set of additional challenges. Increasing prices for inputs and supply chain issues overall are at the top of the list of concerns for spring of 2022. Based on the short term outlook for supplies, everyone should be working on securing the needed inputs for spring planting and summer seeding of soybeans. 

Using the John Deere Operations Center can also aid in increasing your farm’s efficiency and profitability. The John Deere Operations Center is divided up into 5 different areas.

These five areas are what help us define how precision ag is used in the management process to farm to a higher profitability. They use the data that was collected in the machinery or agronomy on the farm and use those data points in the Operations Center to gain insights.
