Key Features
About this release: The 22-3 software release contains improvements and performance enhancements for Spring 2023 field work. These upgrades will improve the functionality of the Generation 4 Display and applications. Please see some of the software highlights below.
Manual Section Control
• This new feature allows an operator to manually override a group of sections in planting and seeding operations.
• An operator can configure an implement into a total of six sections groups and can override the Section Control command to disable all or specific groups of sections.
• Example Use Case: An operator that may be planting in different directions on either side of a small waterway (interior boundary) within the same field. As the planter moves across the waterway planting in Direction A, some sections at the end may begin to enter the other side of the boundary where the operator plans to plant in Direction B. The applicable group of sections entering the other side of the boundary may be turned off while others are still planting to avoid planting where not desired. The Manual Section Control feature will allow the operator to shut off these sections while others on the planter are still planting or have not yet entered the other side of the boundary.
AutoTrac™ Turn Automation (ATTA)
• The ATTA home page was updated to provide more sequence space by removing the iTEC™ shortcut.
• Turn distance on the Guidance run screen now displays "---" instead of <10k ft when the turn distance is unknown.
• The Minimum Turn Radius input may show up as greyed out if the machine provides the information with a link to the Equipment setup page.
Work Plan - Sub Harvesting Operations
• An operator can now use Work Plan and Machine Setup when performing sub-harvesting operations, such as mowing, swathing, baling, and wrapping.
