Atlantic Tractor Facility Expansions Slated to Begin

Atlantic Tractor will begin its first of three facility expansions before year’s end. These expansions are part of Atlantic Tractor’s broader optimization plan that was announced throughout 2021.

The construction of a new 6,000 square foot service facility in Chestertown, MD will be the first to begin with an estimated completion date in the spring of 2022. This will house five technicians and features a 7-ton crane that runs from end to end of the building.

The next expansion will be in Queen Anne, MD, with an estimated start date of December 2021 or January 2022. Completion of this 5,000 square foot service shop will be the summer of 2022. It too will be able to house five technicians and will have an overhead crane as well.

The last of this phase will be the expansion of Clayton, DE which will start in late 2022 or early 2023. Plans for this facility are in the final stages.

In addition to the three expansions, Atlantic Tractor will also be optimizing its Maryland western shore locations in early 2022. This will include combining the operations and work forces of both the Edgewater, MD and Waldorf, MD locations into one modern and centralized facility in Upper Marlboro, MD.
